Alex Merriam
Alex founded Senior Insurance Pathfinders in 2024 after nearly a decade as an independent Medicare broker in Colorado. He has helped hundreds of Colorado residents make some of the most important health-coverage decisions of their lives, through one-on-one appointments, local Medicare education seminars, and support that continues well after enrollment.
Medicare is the foundation of Senior Insurance Pathfinders. Alex works with people turning 65, retiring, weighing employer coverage against Medicare, and reviewing coverage they already have. His approach is personal and practical: start with the doctors, prescriptions, pharmacies, budget, and travel plans, then make the decision clear.
He built SIP on the belief that clients deserve more than a quick enrollment. They deserve an advisor who knows their situation, tells them the truth, and is still there when they need help.

Mike Mielke
Mike spent a decade in healthcare technology, building software and working with insurance companies. That is where he learned how coverage decisions get made, and how often people make them on bad information.
He is a licensed Colorado insurance producer and is certified with Connect for Health Colorado. He works with individuals and families on and off the exchange, the self-employed, and small businesses setting up an ICHRA. He lives in Denver.
